Phantom Canyon Carving Company I have always enjoyed working and playing with wood.  Dave MacEachern was the name of my shop teacher in Heidleberg High School, Germany, who gave me an appreciation for woodworking and the art of marquetry using exotic veneers. That appreciation was born back in 1972 when things were done using the old methods.  I’m really not that old but I am going to say it anyway.  School-House Furniture Repair and Refinishing has been my other business for the last 14 years and the CNC router was obtained in 2010 as part of a natural progression towards technology.  That router, and the artistic nature I am lucky enough to enjoy, have allowed me to make things I could never have dreamed about in 1972. 8" x 24" About We enjoy making our carvings in the little shop we have on our property just east of the real Phantom Canyon Road.  Also known as Colorado State Highway 67, this road is the old railroad grade between Florence and Cripple Creek Made with Xara Phantom Canyon Carving Company Not too far from Vail, Colorado 8” x 24”
